RICHARD HUNSAKER

Dick Hunsaker founded Hunsaker & Associates with his three partners in 1976.  In June 2000, nine new partners were brought on board. Hunsaker had over 35 years of civil engineering and land planning experience. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, BIA, and the Homebuilders Council.

Mr. Hunsaker conducted several one-day presentations of an overall view of civil engineering services at UC, Irvine and was an expert witness in numerous land development-related court cases. Dick was also actively involved in various charitable organizations, such as Toys for Tots, House of Hope for Women and Children, and the National Council on Seniors’ Housing. His BIA positions included serving on the BIA Orange County Board of Directors and serving as Committee Chair on the PASS Committee. In 2001, Mr. Hunsaker was the recipient of the 10th Annual “Tribute to Excellence” award.

Mr. Hunsaker passed away in December of 2020.
