SCHOLARSHIPS
Helping Students In Homebuilding Curricula Pursue Higher Education
The California Homebuilding Foundation manages over 125 scholarship endowments, which were established by homebuilding professionals, individuals, families, businesses, and organizations advocating the building industry. Foundation post-secondary scholarships provide financial assistance and recognition to students as they strive to achieve a wide range of goals through the pursuit of higher education.
With education costs on the rise, paying for college can be a financial barrier for many students. Foundation scholarship opportunities are available to students in a building related program, who have a financial need, are in good academic standing, and are planning a career in the California homebuilding industry after graduation.
Applicants must be enrolled in an approved institution of higher education obtaining an associate, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, materials, housing, and other unmet student needs. Average scholarship awards range from $500 to $20,000.
Applications are open annually through November. Students apply directly to approved schools (see College Scholarships PDF below).
