William Hezmalhalch Architects, Inc.

Founder of the firm in 1981, Bill Hezmalhalch is president of William Hezmalhalch Architects, Inc. (WHA), a comprehensive planning and design firm with offices in Southern and Northern California.

Surrounded by professionals he hand-selected to oversee the firm’s operations, Bill exercises his time working with clients on their project objectives. With over 35 years of experience and a specialization in community and neighborhood design, Bill has directed and designed a broad range of residential building types including custom, spec level, luxury, and resort homes, as well as single-family conventional, high-density detached and attached, active-adult and empty-nester homes.

​Under Bill’s leadership, WHA has become a community design and land-planning leader, establishing, and reinventing the vision for numerous communities throughout the world. As such, the firm is involved in the design and architectural execution of town centers, commercial retail properties, churches, elementary schools, daycare facilities, recreational and golf clubhouses, sales/leasing offices, bridges and relevant community elements that create a sense of place, in addition to numerous philanthropy projects throughout the world.

A graduate of California Polytechnic University, Pomona, Bill is a frequent speaker at national, regional, and local industry events and was also inducted into the William S. Marvin Hall of Fame for Design Excellence in 2010.
